She has had them for two years and they are pictured laying on top of her lunchbox. She is a great person who likes a nice cup of coffee in the morning and I usually see her wearing her glasses. They have ciricle pattern on them. Though they are not very visiable in the picture the circles are rather mezmorising. She has dropped them numerious times but they have held up just fine.

Location Courtyard Dorm on Dakota State University's Campus Materials:                Polyurethane Lenses                Plastic Frames Condition: Older (1-year-old) The story behind the glasses: These glasses belong to a friend of mine named Katherine. They are to correct a stigmatism so her eyes will not hurt when she is reading on a computer screen. The glasses have been sat on a handful of time but were not damaged until a few days before this picture was taken. Katherine has owned this pair of glasses for a year this month. These glasses seem to be well taken care of. Though they do show the natural sighs of wear and tear. The crutches the glasses are resting on are important to my friend. They are to help her get around after sustaining an injury. I thought most people neve...

The Second Viewing Instrument

Image
Type: Sunglasses  Owner: Travis Krakow Location: The Courtyard dorm at Dakota State University Materials:     Frame: Black Plastic     Lenses: Clear  yet dark looking Plastic   Collecting this item was easy since I own this pair of glasses. Glasses are usually seen sitting on a table or dresser. I thought why not make this different and place my glasses in a completely different situation. Hanging from my bedside caddy not many people have ever seen a pair glasses hanging like this. When I were them on a bright day they are not very dark but they to take away the sun's glare. I usually leave them on top of my hat but I thought this would be an interesting way to store them.

The First Viewing Instrument

Type: prescription glasses  Owner: Travis Krakow Location: The Courtyard dorm at Dakota State University Materials:     Frame: Black Metal, Black Plastic     Lenses: Clear Plastic  Collecting this item was pretty easy since I own this pair of glasses. As for placing them on top of a roll of paper towels that was to make them look interesting. A pairs of glasses can be boring just by themselves so changing where they are placed can give them a whole new look. Plus the rub is background gives the picture a homey feel. I have been wearing these glasses for about 4 years.
