Glasses gettin' chilly!

Story behind the glasses:

These glasses belong to my friend Megan who is on the East Coast right now. She has been wearing glasses since she was in 7th grade and she now 21. So, she had been wearing glasses for quite some time. She only got these glasses a month ago in Sioux Falls at Sioux falls family vision. These were the first pair of glasses she has had to pay for on her own. So, that is why she is taking especially good care of them. She tried to switch to contacts about a year ago and just could not get used to them. In her own words, "they were too dry and just overall uncomfortable." Which I do understand since I wear contact lenses myself. Megan holds the opinion that she looks better in glasses and that they are a part of her. Which I think is very accurate.

They are to correct a stigmatism so her eyes will not hurt when she is reading on a computer screen. The glasses have been sat on a handful of time but were not damaged until a few days before this picture was taken. Katherine has owned this pair of glasses for a year this month. In fact, one time when she was head banging her glasses were flung on off her head. Thankfully they did not break and where not damaged. I like music but I don't think I would be head banging with my glasses on.
