The story behind the glasses: These glasses belong to a professor/advisor of mine Dr. Stacy Berry. She has been very helpful to me throughout this semester and in the classes, I have taken with her. These glasses have a pretty interesting story attached to them. When Dr. Berry ordered the first pair of these they were the wrong prescription so she sent them back. However, after she did this they were out of the frames she wanted. So, almost a year later she got an email saying the frames she wanted were available. She immediately ordered them and got the pair of glasses you see in the picture. Also, the glasses are sitting next to one of her favorite elephants. They came with the right prescription this time and she started using them. However, once everything went online she has not really needed to use them much because she doesn't need to see far away. On top of that, these glasses have seen a lot of the world. They have gone all over South Dakota, to Florida, Utah, Illinois, and Washington State. Also, they have to the United Kingdom and back twice.

They are to correct a stigmatism so her eyes will not hurt when she is reading on a computer screen. The glasses have been sat on a handful of time but were not damaged until a few days before this picture was taken. Katherine has owned this pair of glasses for a year this month. These glasses seem to be well taken care of. Though they do show the natural sighs of wear and tear. The crutches the glasses are resting on are important to my friend. She has a very interesting personality. These glasses have been with her for about a year and half. She has a great love for music. In fact, one time when she was head banging her glasses were flung on off her head. Thankfully they did not break and where not damaged. I like music but I don't think I would be head banging with my glasses on.
