Type of glasses: Perscription 


The story behind the glasses: These glasses belong to my uncle Jeff, my dad's older brother. He is a person I usually see with his glasses on. Though he has had several pairs of them over the years. I really can not think of him without his glasses. Now he has not lost or sat on these glasses there is an interesting story linked to them. Just a week or two, on a Sunday, to be specific, before this picture was taken he had accidentally dropped them. Both of the lenses popped out. Thankfully he had a backup pair he could use for a while. He called his eye doctor, who came over personally and fixed my uncle's glasses. This is something you really don't see much anymore.

They are to correct a stigmatism so her eyes will not hurt when she is reading on a computer screen. The glasses have been sat on a handful of time but were not damaged until a few days before this picture was taken. Katherine has owned this pair of glasses for a year this month. These glasses seem to be well taken care of. Though they do show the natural sighs of wear and tear. The crutches the glasses are resting on are important to my friend. She has a very interesting personality. These glasses have been with her for about a year and half. She has a great love for music. In fact, one time when she was head banging her glasses were flung on off her head. Thankfully they did not break and where not damaged. I like music but I don't think I would be head banging with my glasses on.
